A Space Boy Dream
A Space Boy Dream was one of my biggest projects (spanning across 3 years), so I'm finally getting around to uploading parts of it. The whole webcomic can be seen on www.aspaceboydream.com and do check the archives for the first season!.
A Space Boy Dream is a comic about an artsy Maltese youngster who is frustrated at the way his life is unfolding. In the webcomic we tried to look at the challenges that a Maltese artist (whether upcoming or not!) faces, but not just. We also looked at local family life, traditions, politics and general way of life. The comic writing varies throughout the two seasons, however ASBD is largely a satirical comic.
I wrote and co-illustrated the first Season of A Space Boy Dream. I also wrote the second season of ASBD, but this time it was illustrated solely by my husband and creative partner, Mark Scicluna.
