I have a shop!
Do we really need another online illustration print shop? Well you know.. there are many websites selling the same product, and some products you can only buy from this website, so yes, yes we do!
This shop came about because so far my print-selling strategy was this: people send me a message on Instagram / Twitter / Facebook asking whether an artwork is for sale and how much it costs. Then I would reply and say that I typically sell art prints so they can be a bit more expensive than just a normal digital print, what sizes I can offer, I would have to ask where they live to work out shipping, then ask for addresses, give my bank details.. and basically lots of back and forth that is just wasting my precious time and my buyer’s as well.
And so, it made sense to start populating an online store with the artworks I am selling. There are two kinds of artworks. 1 - limited art prints, and 2 - unlimited art prints. The limited art prints are slightly more expensive and these are typically my latest works (they come in a run of 200 prints and some of these might already have been sold though direct messaging on socials).
I have chosen to deliver my prints directly from ‘theprintspace’ in London. I chose this printer because I’ve been using them for a while, they are efficient, they can deliver to clients (and not necessarily to the person ordering) and their printing quality is just superb. I have printed several items for my own home from here and the colours are always so vibrant and true to screen. Aside from this, because they are a print shop, they have ample experience of how to pack prints, so I trust them to pack each print as it should be without it being damaged in the post.
Well, that’s pretty much it, I will keep adding items to my store, hopefully even things besides prints in the near future. I hope you will find something that you like. My illustrations have always been something personal to me and the shop was an afterthought, but I think this was a good decision because no one wants artwork that is too commercial in their home.
